I have used the following software, but not for e-commerce. Take a look at www.axandra.com

They are very well established and always upgrading their product. Also make sure to use www.wordtracker.com which is a great tool to research keyword popularity.

Thanks Martin. I was just actually thinking about an SEO company for Bridget's website as well as PPC. I'll be getting in touch soon to have you guys build my website. I have some ideas that I've been toying with so I'm looking forward to getting it off the ground.

I think one of the best things you can do when marketing your site is to carefully examine the consumer paths and clicking activity. Here are a couple of free tools that we use everyday to help us understand our web visitors. We get 2.5 million visitors a month on average. That's a lot of information to wade through...

Here are those tools:

Google Analytics (For anaylzing website statistics)
Crazy Egg (this creates a visual heat map of consumer clicks - very cool)I can't post the url's because I don't have 15 posts yet, so just google those tool names. Sorry.

Also, having a reliable unique tracking system in place (apart from Google Analytics) will help understand where the consumer came from so you can calculate and effective ROI per campaign. We do this all day long for like 450 campaigns across the web. Realtime metrics will allow you to adapt quickly and not lose too mcuh money. PPC campigns can turn upside down real fast.
