What do you carry, either on you or in your briefcase at all times?


I'm working on getting my laptop and that will be great to have so I can work remotely if a client calls. But the palm pilot, mortgage calculator and a few loan applications seem to be essential.

If a laptop computer is what you're looking to get - consider purchasing a tablet PC. I work exclusively now with a laptop and have done so for the last 3 years. My next purchase will certainly be a tablet PC that eventually I'll be able to do virtual signing with. Good luck with your mortgage tools.

I'll check into that. I'd like to be more mobile with my business so if a client calls in the evening I can log on and pre approve them rather than waiting for the morning to get into the office and upload it. I think it'd make things smoother.

I have been looking for some online tools to integrate into custom websites. The ones I have seen that look good are tools from lion and tools from a la mode. Has anyone come across some additional tools they like?

I have reading up and looking at zillow's API network. It seem like it has some great tools. Not sure. Was still hoping to hear more about it's tools, integration into custome sites, etc...Anyone else have any tools they would like to share.

Mortgage tools are very effective for us so that later it will be easier for us to calculate complete estimate about the loan payments that are made and will be done.

It depends on what kind of work you have. If you just need internet access, try a cellular phone that has an internet access. Cellular phones today has a lot of features to offer like you can type a word document etc. For me, it's a hassle to bring laptop everywhere.
