Hello all! I am Jeff from QuickApply. We are an organic mortgage lead generator and have been in business since 2001. Just wanted to say hello out there and start to take part in some of these discussions.

Good to meet you all!

what exactly is an "organic" mortgage lender? I haven't heard that term before.

By organic I mean that we run thousands of online marketing efforts all day long that drives consumers to our mortgage forms. We average 2.5 million consumers per month on our website. When someone is genuinely interested in a mortgage product, they fill out the form. We do not broker data and we do not buy data from others. We generate between 400 and 800 apps a day on our site (depending on the day of the week, sunday is usually the lowest). I view this type of marketing and lead generation as "organic" because we are at the mercy of the consumer filling out the form. It is the same as someone filling out the mortgage application on your site (loansbyrickgrand.com which I can't seem to get to work .. it looks like you partnered with mortgage x sites or something and they aren't showing your form anymore). This is purely organic traffic and information submission, and makes a genuinely interested borrower.

Also, we are not a direct lender, but we partner with lenders and brokers to work and fund the loans. In all reality we are more of a marketing company for lenders than a lead generator, however, we do capture the data of the borrower, so that kinda puts us in both categories.

I hope I interrpreted your question correctly and answered it in a way that is understandable!

You did answer it quite well. So just out of my curious nature. Let's say I wanted to employ your services to market or generate leads how does that all work?

there are tons of companies always trying to sell me leads but I don't waste my time with that. I've found a couple of companies that explained how they generate leads and I do work with them. I'm quite picky with the companies I'll invest my money into.

It's a bummer because there is a lot of junk and fly-by-night companies in the lead gen industry. It creates a bad rep for us. We have been doing this since 2001 and mostly with the large retail lenders, due to our real-time technology setup. The smaller brokerages just couldn't adapt because it was too much of a technological expense on their part to receive our data/marketing efforts in real-time and give us an answer as to whether they want the consumers information. I am not going to get into it all, but just trying to give a snapshot as to why you have prolly never heard of us and yet we have been around so long. Anyway, we invented this software program called QuickLead Messenger to be able to give the regional sized lenders/brokers and even individual LO's access to our lead platform - just like the large retail lenders. This way the technology expense is eliminated. This is one way to work with us.

We also have a secondary marketplace called the Co-Branded marketplace. In essence your mortgage application on your website is contained within our site. We use the sheer amount of consumers on our site to drive traffic to your form, but it is contained within our framework. These consumers are filtered, financially minded people. We charge on a CPA, CPC and CPM for this integration. (In the marketing world, these are standard fee styles). We do not capture the information for these people, because they fill out the form on your site. The lead is exclusive to you.

Cost is always the deciding factor. There are price and traffic volume minimums to deal with in the Co-Branded marketplace. There is also the fact that your mortgage application has to work within our framework (which usually involves some tech guy or company editing your form).

Those are a couple ways to work with us. The cool thing about us is that all the data comes from consumers that are actually on our website. Whether it is the cobranded marketplace or our forms. We capture the time the showed up on the website, what advertising channel they arrived from, their computer ip address and the time they submit the form -- all to prove the legitimacy of the information.

For an LO or broker, QuickLead Messenger gives you the opportunity to initially test out our leads for free (this is a promotional offer and will not be available for long). You can choose vintage or real-time leads. You can also install the lead ticker notifier to be instantly alerted (like MSN messenger), when a lead fills out the form on QuickApply.com, and it matches your filters.

All in all, we have always tried to set ourselves apart when it comes to the lead gen business. We value communication with our clients and it is crucial to our success as a business. Any legitimate business for that matter. As far as communication goes, I am glad to be a part of these forums. I also have some ideas for generating more interest in lendertalk.com. It is more of a pm conversation though. :)
