I've noticed the rates sliding upwards. I'm wondering if this is the same trend we saw last summer when rates climbed up to the 6.5% range and then fell back down the fall/winter time...I guess only time will tell. I'd say probably not since the subprime disaster...we'll see.

Since the subprime lenders are gone and the primary lenders are concentrating on fixing this mess that was made, With 80 20 loans being the only thing their entertaining right now, in do time the rates as well as the loan stipulations will change for the better to. We just have to be patient

hahaha, I deal with the same s***, not locking in loans, rates on the rise... i'm hoping that they will go down soon... but it's probably just wishful thinking. but *God forbid* something like 9/11 happens and rates will go down like they did... that will probably by the quickest thing to drive down the interest rates.
