welcome Bruce,

The forum isn't THAT big yet but there are a few people here who post, over time it'll keep growing. Hopefully I can help you and vice versa hopefully you can help me as well.

Where are you located?

I work out in Las Vegas with Oak Hill Mortgage. My partners and I just opened a net branch. I'm looking to push my closings over the 15 a month mark by December. I have marketing in play to get that done...

Six months from now my goal is to get over 20 a month. Well, my phone just range -- an app to take I guess.

Best of luck,

Bruce

great! glad to hear that you're doing well. I'm out here in Eugene Oregon and doing roughly 7-10 a month. Oddly enough my 6 month goal is to get to 15 a month and more long term is 20 as well. How is the market out there? I have some good advertising in place here and have a great referral network set up now. I'm also hoping to start a newsletter to send out to the mailing list I have set up. I'm trying to grow my list from 200 to 500 over the next 6 months and then to 1000 by the end of 07.

Maybe we can run marketing ideas by eachother. Do you use an instant messenger at all? Also, are you licensed for just Nevada or do you originate loans in multiple states?

The irony is that my broker is branching to California and Washington and he'd like to branch out to Nevada but we have to have a physical location there and I told him I'd entertain the idea of relocating...We'll see though, that won't be anytime soon.

I originate loans in Nevada, but I'm going to be licensed in AZ, CA, OR, and UT.

NIce, I like the idea of being able to originate loans in multiple states. We'll be licensed in california and washington very soon.

What marketing method brings in the most business for you? Giving seminars and writing free reports have the best return for me.

Let me know.

I'm still relatively new to the business. I've been originating loans for about a year now. I have a decent mailing list set up. I haven't started doing any seminars but I'd certainly like to get into that sort of thing. To be honest my number 1 source for loans are referrals. What kind of things do you go over in a seminar or the free reports? I'm working on some marketing ideas so I'll keep you posted on how they go. I'm starting a raffle and I'll have entry forms at open houses that FSBO's hold, I'll let you know how the response goes on that. I also just picked up "financing available by" signs to put in FSBO's yards and some agent listings that I work with so again, I'm starting this ideas and I'll keep you posted on them. I added you to my SKYPE messenger as well.

I will keep in touch. By the way, I've got a big meeting tomorrow to see if I'll get this 1000-unit condo-conversion. If so, I'm going to increase the size of my team.

I'm confident that I get it done.
