SEO Keywords

Hi all, I work for a private lending company. We're launching a website to try and get customers directly rather than through various referral sources. Our website developers are "SEO experts", and they're telling me that in order to get our site to the top of the search list we need to repeat, repeat, repeat... basically say the same thing over and over again. The problem I'm running into is the site now sounds very 'budget' and not that professional because we're constantly repeating ourselves. What's the point of having a site that's at the top of the search page if the actual site sucks? Does anyone know how valid the SEO repeat phrasing is? Are my website developers taking me for a ride, or is it really an effective way to do SEO?

If you really want to learn about SEO, than I suggest learning it from internet marketers.

The BEST site to learn from is called Warrior Forum. Trust me, you'll get more free info there than anything you can pay some "expert" for.

Warrior Forum is good. But there are many SEO forums that can answer all your questions. Just Google "SEO forum" for suggestions. You should be able to apply that information to a mortgage website.
