Denied twice the day of closing !!!

This is the second time me and my partner were to settle on a mortgage and the bank pulled out the day of settlement. We are trying to buy a condo at the Jersey shore. Why is it so hard to get a loan? We are putting 20% down, both have excellent credit and have more than enough assets to cover the loan. It is only 150,000 loan. Whats up????

I can't believe you were denied twice at closing! If you don't mind me asking "what was the issue?". It is the lenders responsibility to ensure that everything is done properly prior to getting to closing. I think that is unacceptable on the lender's part. Are you still looking to purchase? Yeah, it seems like we are missing something from the story. It just doesn't make financial sense for the bak to do that. Well, unless there is something else involved...
