I'm not sure how many people have taken part in this process while building there website but I have used it and generated leads from it. The guys at sitetutor have shown me the ropes and they have a great way to make it work.

Don't bid for the keywords that are $1.50 a word, get 2000 hits and that everyone is bidding for. Find the ones that get are under 30 cents get 0-10 hits and not many bid on. It's all based on your calculated budget and that will determine what your max bid should be.

It's a great way to do PPC and it is much more cost effective and even shows better results

I am in the process of getting my custom site worked through with the guys at Site Tutor. They are great. I haven't gotten to the point of pay per clicking on the site, but I will certainly let you know how things are going once I'm up and running. I'm really excited about generating leads from a PPC campaign and getting things rolling. I will keep you all posted.

I've been doing it with a site and it generated some leads which was great. I liked it and Martin helps you target your market in sucher a smart more cost effective way.

how do you guys get such cheap keywords!??

i always pay at least $12-15 per keeyword.

Well, I think part of it is your the area...The most expensive words I've seen have been a few dollars. I haven't done PPC for a long time now, I recently created a website for my fiancee so I'm going to get back into it to help her site.

I used to just search the keywords on yahoo and find the words that don't generate as much traffic but costs a lot less. I mean if a $5 keword gets you 1000 hits a month and a $0.25 keyword gets you 100 hits and you find 10 of those you paid half the price for the same amount of hits

However, I am not the most savvy person with this and I am learning more. I've had some pretty good people helping me but I'm also looking into SEO companies but if you know a little more about this maybe you could explain to me exactly how SEO companies work.

Yeah i know personally I've used YSM(Yahoo Search Marketing) and I've paid at least 3-5 for non mortgage keywords, and when I use mortgage keywords in google...I pay at the very least $7 a click...for my personal use...

then at work, they pay alot per click.

I read all the comments at this thread. very nice info. But i am beginner here and want learn PPC. Can any one describe step by step the original funda of PPC. lease help me or give me any good link related to PPC by which i can learn complete PPC.

IMO Google Adwords provides the BEST PPC platform around. PPC can be very risky if you don't know what you're doing. I would highly recommend reading some books by the likes of Perry Marshall. There is a lot to learn if you want to be successful at it. Bidding on low $$$ keywords is not really the best way to do PPC. It doesn't scale. You can spend $20/click and make a killer profit if you know what you're doing.

If you get into Google Adwords, study up on optimizing your ad groups, ads, and landing pages to increase quality scores for your keywords. High quality scores mean that you pay less for higher position. You might bid and pay $10/click on a keyword and only be in 3rd or 4th position while I may bid $10 but only have to pay $7/click and get the #1 position for that same keyword simply because my quality score is higher.

Quality score is based heavily on how relevant your ad and landing page is to the keyword phrase as well as the click-thru-rate for that keyword in your ad group. Scores of 7/10 and up are good. Scores of 6/10.
